Yarotech
SMS Update Service
Text your website changes. We make them, deploy them, and text you back when they’re live.
Enrolling in SMS is completely voluntary.
The SMS Update Service is an optional add-on for Yarotech customers who choose to use it. SMS opt-in is not required to access Yarotech’s IT services, cybersecurity consulting, website management, or any other service or transaction. You may decline to enroll, opt out at any time, or remain a Yarotech customer without ever using SMS.

What this is
The Yarotech SMS Update Service lets the owners of websites we manage — and the staff they choose — request content changes by sending a text message. A request like “change the headline on the home page to Open Saturdays 9–4” or “swap the storefront photo on the about page” goes to a dedicated phone number, the system makes the edit, rebuilds the site, deploys the new version, and texts back a plain-English confirmation of what changed. Most updates land in about a minute. No logins, no dashboards, no waiting on email.
Who it’s for
The service is available only to existing Yarotech customers whose websites Yarotech hosts and maintains, and to the staff those customers explicitly authorize. There is no public self-service signup. We do not market this service to the general public, and we do not enroll anyone without direct contact and explicit consent.
Sample messages you’ll receive
Every message from this service starts with Yarotech:so it’s always clear who it’s from. Real examples:
- Confirmation: “Yarotech: Done — your home page headline now reads ‘Open Saturdays 9–4’.”
- Clarification question: “Yarotech: Which page should I update — the home page or the about page?”
- Confirmation request: “Yarotech: This will replace your main banner image. Reply YES to go ahead, or NO to cancel.”
- Upload request: “Yarotech: I need a photo of the new menu item to add it — upload it here: https://sms.yarotech.dev/upload/abc. Link expires in 24 hours.”
- Error: “Yarotech: Sorry, I ran into a problem and couldn’t make that change. The site is unchanged.”
Messages are entirely user-initiated — you receive a reply only in response to a request you’ve sent. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this service.
Opt-out and help keywords
Compliance keywords are handled automatically by our messaging provider (Twilio). Here’s exactly what each reply returns:
- You send: STOP
We reply (one time): “You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.” - You send: HELP
We reply: “Yarotech SMS Update Service. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. For help call (800) 696-4165 or email info@yarotech.net. Msg & data rates may apply.” - You send: START (after previously opting out)
We reply: “You have successfully been re-subscribed to messages from this number. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply.”
You can also call or email us at the contact details above to be removed from the system. Phone and email are for support only — adding or authorizing a number for SMS updates is always done through the opt-in form on this page.
Enroll a number
Existing Yarotech customers and the staff they authorize can enroll a phone number using the form below. A Yarotech administrator will reach out within one business day to verify the request, confirm authorization on the customer account, and activate SMS for the number. This form is the only way to opt into SMS updates — phone and email are for support only and never enroll anyone in SMS.
How enrollment works (full flow)
- Submit the opt-in form. Fill in the enrollment form above with the phone number you want authorized to send update requests. Submitting this form is the only way to opt into SMS updates. If you have questions first, you can call (800) 696-4165 or email info@yarotech.net — but phone and email are for support only and never enroll anyone in SMS.
- Consent is captured on the form. The form’s two required consent checkboxes — both unchecked by default — capture each authorized individual’s express agreement to receive automated SMS confirmations in response to update requests they themselves initiate. Submitting the form is the sole way consent is captured, and the consent record is retained.
- We add the numbers. Yarotech’s platform administrator adds each authorized phone number to the system. We send you the dedicated service number you’ll text from, plus any reference notes you need to make requests effectively (a “you can ask for X” cheatsheet specific to your site).
- Welcome message. The first message from us confirms enrollment, restates the STOP/HELP keywords, and notes that Msg & data rates may apply.
- Start texting. From the authorized phone, text the service number with your update request. You’ll receive a confirmation message back when the change is live, or a clarifying question if anything is ambiguous.
